Join Us Tonight at the Capital City Welcome Reception

Celebrate the start of Clinical Congress 2026 with delicious food, fun activities, and camaraderie at tonight’s Capital City Welcome Reception, 7:00–9:00 pm, in Ballroom ABC at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

With the theme of “Passport Through America—250 Years of Inspiration and Connection,” the reception will celebrate America’s 250th anniversary while highlighting the history, culture, and spirit of Washington, DC.

The menu will feature a variety of stations and small bites, including Maryland crab cake sliders, Black Angus cheeseburgers, and pasta. Other options will include a salad station and variety of desserts, as well as choices for individuals with food preferences and dietary restrictions.

The tastes and history of Washington, DC aren’t all the Capital City Welcome Reception has to offer, though. Entertainment will be plentiful, too. Local DJ Zack will provide the music, while balloon twisters, face painters, stilt walkers, roaming photo booths, tarot card readers, and a graffiti artist add to the festivities.

The reception is family-friendly, and all attendees and family members are welcome.
